I have known Gus of Cedar Ridge Custom Homes all of his life, after all I am a relative, so when it came to building my new home I though what the heck, after all, he can't hide from me.
As it turned out it was one of the wisest moves I have ever made, he not only built exactly
what I wanted he also showed me how to save money by building in certain ways - i.e.
"keep the measurements in common with the common length of factory materials".
In closing I would like say that when I build my next home I hope I can build it in Gus' serviceable area!

Gus came highly recommended by the person that sold us our lot. We wanted someone young and someone good and as it turned out Gus is both of these. He took me to see some other homes his company was building and what we saw we were very impressed with. I would also like to say that there are a few little unexpected touches around the house that sets it apart from the others that really makes it our home, we are both very happy...

We would just like to say that we have never loved a house like our new home that was built by Cedar Ridge Custom Homes, it has everything a person could want. It is as beautiful in design as it is in ergonomics-the attention to detail is staggering. This is the last home we will ever buy, it is a keeper, thanks Gus. Dan and Debbie W.

First of all I would just like to say that working with Gus and Cedar Ridge Custom Homes was quite an enjoyable experience, especially important being that we were first time home builders. We have heard a lot of horror stories from people that used other home builders, and we did not experience any of that with Gus. The first thing that a person would notice when they come into our new home is the meticulous attention to all of details, from the quality of the craftsmanship all the way to the allocation of space. It is unbelievable there is not one wasted square foot in this home. Talk about design quality, you wouldn't think a home this size has eleven closets but it does and we use every one of them. We would also like to mention that one time a minor problem arose, and he took care of that quick, it was great and we thank him very much.

I am a retired builder and called Gus at Cedar Ridge Custom Homes after meeting with a realtor. I met with Gus because I saw a home that he built that I really liked, after meeting a few times I felt confident in his integrity & building skills.
In fact I had so much faith in Gus building my future home, I went to Australia while he built it!
I do not want to build again, but if I did you can bet that Gus at Cedar Ridge Custom Homes would get the job. Greg & Corey J.

The "custom" in Cedar Ridge Custom Homes means exactly that. Gus Fahrendorf was extremely flexible, not only embracing, but encouraging our ideas and suggestions. He designed and built what we wanted. His pride in what he does is evident throughout the entire home-building process. We were extremely pleased with he quality and cooperative spirit of his suppliers and sub-contractors. We've heard a lot of horror stories from friends who built, but we're happy to say that we love our new home, we enjoyed the experience and would build again with Cedar Ridge Custom Homes! I do not want to sound corny by saying this but I would like to say that Gus Fahrendorf is an angel and he made all of my dreams come true. I could not be more pleased with his kindness and his quality of workmanship, I am just thrilled. What other builder would put my home on hold because I couldn't sell my old one, thanks. I tell friends and family that are thinking of building - I say "hey, if you are thinking of building in Washington or Ozaukee Counties you better look this guy up." I mean what a nice guy, I hope I can build again in the next five years or so, and I am sure you will know who I will be calling. ------ (And she did, and we got the call, and all is well.)
